Updates to how privacy settings work on Play

Hello sakidjan, We've updated settings that manage personalization and activity history on Play. You'll have dedicated controls for personalization on Play and for saving activity in your Google Account's Play History, and these settings will be easily accessible in the Google Play menu. In the past, personalization and history on Play were managed by Web & App Activity (WAA) settings in your Google Account. Going forward, WAA will no longer control Play personalization and Play History. Instead, you'll be able to manage those settings directly on Play, and you'll see this change in your account in the next few days. Learn more about Play personalization and Play History When the transition happens for your account, your Play settings will be based on the most recent choice you made in WAA, so your experience will stay the same. If you have WAA turned on during the transition, which is happening over the next few days, then your Play personalization and Play History settings will be on, and if WAA is off, then Play personalization and Play History will be off. As before, you'll be able to choose how long your activity is saved in your Play History and if you want to delete it from Play History manually or automatically. After the transition is complete, WAA and Play settings will be separate, and changes to one will no longer affect the other. Your Android device will soon join the Find Hub network

Find Hub network You can use Find Hub to locate devices when they're connected to the internet. The Find Hub network can help locate devices, even if they're offline. It can also help find compatible Fast Pair accessories, earbuds and headphones, and trackers that are attached to items like wallets, keys, or bikes. How it works To help owners find their offline items, your Android devices and others in the network will use Bluetooth to scan for nearby items. They'll securely send the locations where nearby items were detected to Find Hub. Your Android devices will also securely send their most recent online locations to Find Hub to help locate them when they're offline. If you set a screen lock for your Android device, such as a PIN, pattern, or password, Find Hub can also use the network of over a billion devices in the Android community to help locate your items when they're offline. Encrypted for privacy It's recommended that you set a screen lock so Find Hub can use the network to help locate your offline items. Your screen lock will be used to encrypt your devices' locations. Only you and those you share your devices with in Find Hub will be able to see these locations. If you continue without setting a screen lock, Find Hub will store your devices' most recent online locations to help find them when they're offline. Stored locations will be encrypted using your Google password, and only you will be able to see them in Find Hub. You'll get a notification on your Android devices when this feature is turned on in 3 days. Until then, you can opt out of the network through Find Hub on the web. Your choice will apply to all Android devices linked to sakidjan.ads@gmail.com. After the feature is on, you can manage device participation anytime through Find Hub settings on the device.
